Planning your own wedding can be very exciting but at the same time very frustrating. Here are some tips to help it go more smoothly.
You need 9-12 months to plan a wedding with ease. Any less time than this will be much more frustrating and rushed.
Purchase a wedding planner book that can take you step by step by the month. These books give you daily and monthly To-Do’s . It keeps you organized and on track with wedding planning.
If you can’t afford to hire a wedding planner, recruit some of your Bridal Party when you need help. For instance, wedding invitations would be a great project to do together. Wedding favors would also be a great get together for the Bridal Party. If your Bridesmaids are unwilling or too busy, you have chosen the wrong people to represent the wedding party.
Buy or subscribe to wedding magazines. These types of magazines were so helpful to me. I got so many ideas from what kind of gown I liked to the centerpieces on the reception table. There are tons of tips in these magazines. These are just a few tips that can help make wedding planning easier.
