Wedding Cake Disasters

July 13th 2008 07:02
Everybody wants a perfect wedding... This is obviously the reason why we try to plan our wedding ahead of time. Every single moment will me caught on photos and on tape...

But no matter how hard and how meticulous we try to plan it, there is still a bit or two that goes out of hand...

Here are some examples:

Make sure that your baker knows what they are doing or you'll end up with a cake like this. Better yet, to be on the safe side, do away with royal icing as they have a tendency to toughen up. If you are still inclined to have royal icing on your cake, make sure that necessary precautions are taken in storing it.

Your cake table plays an important role in your reception. Make sure that it is sturdy and can support the weight of your cake.

Spontaneous things happen during a wedding, even if you've rehearsed everything a couple hundred times. Perhaps it's the tension that the groom or bride is feeling that brought about such behaviour.

"Just remember, these clips may seems funny from a third person's point of view. But after you laugh, you must also keep in mind the lesson that it want to impart so you would not be the next victim of such wedding cake disaster."
