Preserving the Memory of Your Wedding

Preserving the memory of your Wedding

There are many ways to go about saving the memory of your wedding. You can choose one or several options. You will want to decide on your option before you wedding so you can have in mind the kinds of pictures, videos, or slides you would like to remember. Besides having a memory for yourself, you may want to prepare a memory for some of your friends and family as well.

Photo album
A photo album is a great memory of your wedding. It can be a scrap book album, or a padding framed album. To make it special, if you don’t want to hand make it, embellish it with your own touch of lace and silk accented flowers.

For a nice gift for a friend or family, buy a smaller version of an album and choose pictures with that particular relative or friend as well in the album.

Wedding slides
Making wedding slides can be fun but can take some time. You can actually do this on your computer either with your power point program or you can just put all the photos in one folder and use the slide feature in my pictures on your computer. You could even put captions on the photos with a photo shop program.

Video
In order to have a video, you will need to hire someone. Either a professional or an amateur will need to be taking pictures. It is probably better to hire someone who will be able to edit the movie of your wedding to make it presentable to show to everyone. You could also buy copies to send to special people as gifts.

Disposable Cameras at reception
Putting disposable cameras on the reception tables for guests to take pictures is a great idea to capture memories. You never know what you will get with these pictures and granted, they are not the best pictures because of the film but they are a nice surprise when you get them developed after the honeymoon.
