Plan A Cheap Honeymoon

February 9th 2010 20:07
If you don't want to create a huge amount of debt before you're even married, learn how to plan a cheap honeymoon.
When you want to plan a cheap honeymoon, you must have a budget. A cheap honeymoon is only inexpensive but that doesn't mean it will be less enjoyable or even less luxurious. It can be exciting and wonderful but for less money. Decide how much you will set aside for the budget and stick to it. Consider the time of year you are getting married in and whether it is off season or the peak of the season at the place you want to honeymoon at.
Set aside some time to list your top 5 locations you want to go. Make a list so you can eliminate as you go, according to your budget.

Now you will have to use your navigation skills for the Web. This will take time and patience and it may even take a few days or a week. To plan a cheap honeymoon is not an easy route to take but it's doable. Start with your place of destination. You must find a place to stay, and then you will find a cheap flight to it. Search online for cheap or inexpensive honeymoons or honeymoon packages. Once you have found the place, book it. You can find the flight next.
Now you can search for your flight, search online for cheap flights. Put in your flight dates to leave and return. Compare each airline you can find and have a notepad ready to compare prices. Make sure you are aware of the time the flights are arriving and departing both ways. Sometimes flights are cheaper because you are leaving late at night. As long as you're ok with that schedule, grab the cheapest flight.
To plan a cheap honeymoon, you must save money somewhere. In the flight, you can take off-hour flights. You can also turn your nose up at first class seating. Another way to save on the flight is by not eating on it. Save your money for the honeymoon.

In planning a cheap honeymoon, you can save money by not taking the honeymoon suite. There are lots of nice rooms. Depending on where you plan your honeymoon, you can save by not taking the meal package. There are lots of places to eat off resort sites that are just as nice and cheaper. You can check this out online ahead of time.
Your friends and family can be an excellent resource in suggestions for a cheap honeymoon. There are also forums that are geared towards weddings and honeymoons with chat rooms. These forums can be a great resource to gain valuable information about planning a cheap honeymoon.
