Light Up Your Wedding

March 29th 2011 11:11
There’s nothing prettier at a wedding when there are lots of lights and sparkle. You can do this any time of year or any season. You can use a little bit of lights and sparkle or a lot.
The biggest season that brides use this is at Christmas time. You can use most any color if you want but softer lights are most attractive. Putting lights on the bridal tables are a must. Also if you drape the same color lights behind the bridal party looks really good. Using lights as an accent to highlight certain areas of the reception is what you mostly want to do. Accenting the cake table with lights, and accenting the picture area (like if you have an arch for pictures) would be good. Of course, if there are trees decorated in the room then lights would be on them too.

To light up the ballroom area or dance floor, you can purchase Large round lantern that light up or maybe mini stars that light up. These can both be purchased online.
Once you have decided on how much you want to light up your wedding, you can use other ways to help transpire the illumination. For instance, if you are planning on using an ice sculpture at your wedding, the light will be magnified by its reflection off of the ice sculpture.
On the reception tables, as a center piece, you can just use a single floating candles in clear glass with colored stones on the bottom. The water will magnify the lighting and it will look so beautiful in the room with the reflection. This will create a beautiful romantic mood at your wedding.
When you light up your wedding, you create a type of mood for your wedding that will make it memorable not only to the Bride and Groom but to all who attend.
