Deciding to Have a Pool-Side Wedding
August 4th 2008 05:29
One of the many venue options for a wedding is by a pool. It is a cheaper and easier alternative for couples who want to have a body of water witness their “I Do”s but couldn’t afford to have a beach wedding for one too many reasons.
Before jumping on that decision of having one though, there are a few questions that you should consider for it might make or break your big day’s success.
Is there a pool area that you can rent out for a price within your budget? You wouldn’t want to be getting what you want and end up getting broke.
Is your wedding date within a perfect season for a poolside wedding? Remember that most pools are outdoors and susceptible to drastic weather changes. If your wedding date falls on a predictably wet season, you better think again or have a very well planned Option B.
Would you be able to get a pool area that can accommodate the number of guests in your list? You wouldn’t want to run into the trouble of trying to fit your guests in a limited space and have to get the rest of the people in the pool.
It is ultimately up to you and your partner on the final say of whether to have a pool side wedding or not. However, no matter how good the weather is predicted to be, always have ample plan B or alternative to save all the decorations and ambiance and make your special day still as memorable as you have dreamt it would be.
