Great Projects for the Wedding Party

November 19th 2009 11:26
When it comes to togetherness, there should be a link between the Bride and her Bridal party. Bringing the Bridal party together for various projects can help the wedding run smoother and can keep everyone in the know.

There are many projects that can be achieved with the help of your most cherished friends and family who you choose to be by your side while giving your vows. Looking through wedding magazines and craft books can give you ideas on what projects you would like to do together.

Invitations
Among these projects are the wedding invitations themselves. This is a huge project of the Brides and it’s always nice when those we love pitch in to help us with it. It can take quite a while to address, stamp and put together a hundred or more invitations. The pleasure of being together can make it so much more enjoyable.

Flowers

Making the flowers if the Bride has planned to do this herself is reserved for those who have experience in floral arrangement. This is no job for amateurs. There are some simple center pieces that can be easily mimicked after the first one is made.

Center pieces

Center pieces can be easier to tackle. They don’t always have to be floral arranged. You can make centerpieces with elegantly decorated pillar candles. Floating candles are another great centerpiece for the tables.

Wedding Favors
Wedding favors are one of the more simplistic projects that a group of women can do together. An idea that can double as a centerpiece is to put all the favors on a pretty dish in the center of the table with silky ribbon intertwined. Wedding favors can as simple as a small container being filled with candy, wrapped in netting with a bow. Favors can also be very elaborate as well.

Making cookies in a love theme like hearts or bells and decorating them can be a nice favor. Wrap these cookies in delicate colored paper with a nice ribbon.

Dress coordinator
This person can keep all the records of the dresses and notify everyone when they come in. It’s enough the Bride has to choose her gown and choose the dress colors. Having someone to coordinate the bridal party colors, regarding dresses, hair accessories, shoes is a wonderful relief off the Bride and will be a huge load off the Bride’s mind.
