Finding the right seasonal flowers

August 26th 2009 01:33
Seasonal flowers are those which are in season for that time of the year that you’re having your wedding. There is a big benefit of buying seasonal flowers and that is it can be much less expensive. You don’t have to buy seasonal flowers for your wedding, but it is one of those choices you may have to make.

Here are some choices for each season that you can think about.

Spring/Summer: Tulips, Orchids, Lilacs, Hyacinths, daisies, summer grass for accent

Fall: Black Eyed Susan’s, Sunflowers, Chrysanthemum, Dahlia, Berries for accent

Winter: Roses, Carnations, Poinsettias

Pine cones, Ivy & Pine sprigs for Accent

These are just some ideas that might help you decide for the season of your wedding. If you have a themed wedding, you may want to choose your flowers more towards the theme.
