Choosing your Wedding Flowers

August 7th 2009 22:09

Once you have decided on the date and things have settled down a bit, you will begin planning your very own wedding. It’s nice to hire someone to do that for you, but even if you do, you will still have to make decisions on your choices.
I am assuming that you’ve chosen your theme color and your dresses have been chosen. This is very important as your Bridal dress colors should coordinate with the wedding flowers.
The best way to plan your wedding flowers is to first come up with a theme flower for your bouquets. It doesn’t have to be carnations. Times have changed. It can be peonies, lilies, or any kind of exotic flower.

You should choose your type of flowers first. After you choose your flower type, you should choose whether you want silk, dried or live flowers. The next thing on the list would be coordinating your colors with your wedding attire. You may want to add some of the bridesmaids and maid of honors color to coordinate their dresses.
The last thing you need to decide is the type of bouquet. There are many styles of bouquets. Try choosing according to the type of wedding you are having. If it’s very formal, then you as the Bride may want to go with a cascading bouquet. If you’re planning a beach themed wedding, then you may want to go with something simpler. It could be a small bouquet to a single blossom of a gorgeous flower with an accent.
Whatever you choose, be sure it is a choice you will be happy with and not one you chose to please someone else.

Very interesting topic, though I don't need it for some time! Are you a professional? Many may attract to your blogs.
