A Garden Wedding Ceremony

August 7th 2009 00:28
Congratulations! You’ve decided on a theme for your wedding. I’m sure it will be a breathtaking wedding! To start things off smoothly, if you haven’t done so already, find a beautiful garden for your Garden Wedding Ceremony.
It could be a friend’s yard or a relative’s yard. It must be stunningly well kept. Think of whose garden you admire most. Most importantly, make sure you have enough room for all your guests comfortably.
Set the date and verify it with your pastor or priest. You will have to rent chairs for the occasion and maybe a large canopy in case of inclement weather.

Make sure there is some shade for the elderly at your Garden Wedding if it’s a hot day. If the garden owner has pets, make sure they are taken inside where they won’t interrupt the ceremony.
While the Bride, groom and wedding party have their pictures taken in the garden, the guests can be ushered to the reception. I say this only because outdoor ceremonies tend to be less organized as they are so casual. Appointing ushers to do these things is always best.
If the garden you will use doesn’t have a garden arch, don’t worry about it. You can easily purchase one at a craft store very inexpensively. This is worth the investment and can be reused in your own garden. This will also hold a special memory for you in your garden together.
